We have an end-to-end microbiome workflow, including sample collection and storage, DNA isolation, library and amplicon preparation, sequencing, and data analysis such as read alignment, phylogenetic profiling, and annotation.

16S profiling

We offer 16S profiling services, also known as 16S rRNA gene sequencing. This method targets the 16S rRNA gene found in all bacteria. It is used to identify and classify bacterial species and to analyze taxonomic diversity within microbial communities, including those in the gut, throat, ear, and skin.

18S and ITS profiling

18S rRNA gene sequencing identifies eukaryotic microorganisms such as fungi, algae, and protozoa. ITS profiling targets spacer regions in rRNA genes, offering higher resolution for identifying fungi and closely related species. While 18S is suited for broad taxonomic studies, ITS is ideal for detailed fungal classification. We provide both methods.

Metagenomics

We offer metagenomics services. Unlike targeted approaches that focus on a specific gene, metagenomics analyzes all genetic material in a sample to study the entire microbial community. This provides insights into microbial diversity, structure, function, and interactions across different environments.
