We provide automated isolation services with protocols suitable for a wide range of starting materials and volumes. In addition, we provide guidance on harvesting methods to maintain high sample quality. Our services include measurements of DNA and RNA purity and concentration.

DNA isolation
Typical sample materials for DNA extraction services include blood, buffy coat, saliva, buccal swabs, tissue, and cell pellets. We also offer isolation services for cell-free DNA from plasma. DNA isolation from blood can be performed using 1 ml, 3 ml, or 5 ml, depending on the amount available and the DNA required for downstream services.
Isolation of microbial DNA.
We routinely isolate microbial DNA from stool, vaginal swabs, skin swabs, dental swabs, environmental swabs and urine. Our automated DNA extraction procedure is well-suited for both amplicon generation and metagenomic analyses.
RNA isolation
We isolate RNA from blood collected in PAXgene tubes. If you need RNA isolated from other types of material, please contact us to discuss the available options.
