Research Technician, Coordinator Arrays

With more than twenty years of experience in processing genotyping arrays, we specialise in producing high-quality data for upstream analyses. We provide a range of genotyping array options and offer services using both Illumina and Thermo Fisher arrays.

Our services include standard workflows and, optionally, workflows with guaranteed fast delivery.

A solution for population-scale studies.

The Infinium Global Screening Array by Illumina offers comprehensive and up-to-date content. With over 700.000 markers and a 24-sample format, it is ideal for population scale genetic and genome-wide association studies, including those focused on rare variants. Additionally, it has content that is clinically relevant.

New Illumina arrays.

In 2024, Illumina launched a new generation of genotyping arrays featuring the novel Infinium EX chemistry. The available arrays include the Global Clinical Research Array , offering approximately 1.2 million markers in a 24-sample format, and the Global Screening Array version 4, in a 48-sample format with a multiethnic genome-wide backbone of 650,000 SNPs. Both arrays are available in versions with or without enhanced pharmacogenetics content.

We currently run Illumina GSA MD version 3, the GSA DTC version 3, the GSA version 4, the GCRA, as well as the custom GSA MD GOALL array versions 1 and 2. For Thermo Fisher, we run the Precision Medicine Diversity Array. Other Illumina and Thermo Fisher arrays are available upon request.

Our genotyping services incorporate standard technical quality control, and we offer additional data analysis services upon request.

Understanding how DNA affects our response to medication.

People respond differently to medications, and genetics can explain some of these differences. Understanding how DNA influences drug response can lead to better health outcomes. Genotyping arrays offer valuable insights into the genetic variants involved.

We offer genotyping services using three enhanced pharmacogenetics arrays to support this goal: the Global Diversity Array+ePGx, GCRA+ePGx, and GSA version 4+ePGx.

Let's talk about your project.

We recommend reaching out to us as soon as possible to discuss your project. This will allow us to better tailor our services and applications to meet your needs.

Sample delivery

We have sample delivery criteria for our services. Please see downloads for our service-specific shipment protocols.

Are you looking for a custom solution?

If your project requires a customised service, we are happy to discuss potential solutions and develop or optimise a service that meets your specific needs.

More than 1.5 million samples genotyped.

In 2016, Illumina asked us to coordinate the European genotyping efforts for the Infinium Global Screening Array and perform a large part of the genotyping analyses. A European consortium was formed and over 1.5 million samples, mostly from Europe, have been genotyped since then, using the GSA, with added multiple disease fine-mapping content.

The European GSA consortium has generated valuable genomic data, facilitating global scientific collaboration, significantly contributing future genetic research and healthcare initiatives.
